Seventeen & Soap&Glory

Hey lovies,

As like my last post I'm sorry again :( silly camera still not working so iphone to the rescue :)

Iv been looking for a while for new lip crayons, I'm slightly addicted to these bad boys! I love the chubby sticks by Clinique but sometimes I want something less pricey £££
A friend of mine told me about the seventeen lip crayons and have me the push to try one out. I went into my local boots and found them, I picked up the shade Heartbreaker. It's a lovely not to dark plum colour. It glides on your lips so easily and leaves your lips feeling very moisturised and finished with a nice gloss shine. The staying power isn't to bad and for me I was able to build up for a darker shade. They are £4.99 in boots :)

The next one was the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick, 3D Volume Lip Shine by Soap & Glory! wow that's a mouth full to say :)
I picked this up in the shade Nudist, it's a lovely pinky/beige colour! I love it!!
I literally can't stop wearing this! When you apply this it goes on so quick and melts into your lips, it's very moisturising and creamy. It leaves your lips looking very glossy and the colour it leaves is adorable.
It definately makes your lips look "3d" it gives the visual effect of being filler without giving off that tingly feeling you get with some plumping glosses. I really love this and will defo be going back for more! It's available in boots for £8

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

BarryM Lash Vegas Waterproof Mascara

Hey lovies,

First things first can I say sorry for the shoddy pics :( im posting this using my phone, the silly camera has decided to not work and fail on me :(

Any way .......

I was shopping again on my work break and came across this little lovely thing. it caught my eye with the bright blue packaging and the fact it's waterproof. In autumn for some reason I need to change to using waterproof? hmm wierd fact there lol :)
This is BarryM's new updated version of there Lash Vegas. It features a new spiral shaped wand that has been specially designed to separate, define and reach even the smallest of lashes.
The formula of the mascara is said to be unique as it softens and moisturises the lashes and smudge free, now I hate mascaras that smudge, especially on your bottom lashes!
I'm looking foward to giving this one a go and see if I can achieve the Vegas look :)

Have you tried this out??

Soap & Glory mini bits :)

Hey lovlies,

Just a quick little post today. I went shopping a few days ago and only needed to re purchase my Soap & Glory cleanser. But hey ho i picked up these 3 beauties aswell.
I managed to get drawn in as you do and made these cheeky purchases. The Smooch Operator, Glow Job and You Wont Believe Your Eyes.
I do believe i managed to pick up the old packaging for the smooch operator and glow job :( I have been told the formulation is the same they just changed packaging. (not happy bunny boots)

Smooch Operator

With the horid weather setting in ineeded to buy a new lip balm, now i do have to say i have loads of lip balm and butters but hey ho you can never have enough in my eyes. This lip butter balm is formulated with mango butter, vit e, with argan and rose hip oils. These added ingredients help to nourish soothe and help soften thoses dreaded chapped lips. When i first smelt this it really does smell of vanilla and i love anything vanilla. This is amazing in my eyes. A little goes a long way, It mages to saty on quite well on my lips. When i drink or eat i dont need to re-apply it manages to stay on. in my eyes this is great. I put on a generous amount at night and bang in the morning i have kissable lips again :)

Glow Job

I must say i did laugh a little bit with my firend when we saw this, yes i may be 25 but c'mon lol.
Glow job daily radiance moisture lotion (what a mouthfull 2 say) is a tinted face moisturiser with little bronzing beads added for that tanned effect. When i first used this i was in awe, it literaly made me looked tanned and not like willy wonkers little orange friends. It has a very sheer cover and i wouldnt really use this alone i did add it to my daily makeup routine. It doesnt really have a smell. When you use it i found that working upwoards helps the little beads burst and cover your face even on both sides. I really like this product, its not to over powering with the bronzed look.

You Wont Believe Your Eyes

I bought tis product as at the moment my eyes are horrid. I literally look like the walking dead with my eyes. It claims that it fights under eye bags, dark circles and pigmentation. It says it helps to lift, brighten and blur away any flaws. (I need a whole bottle an eye for mine then.) Iv been using this for a few days now and it has started to lowly help wth the puffiness and colour of these dreaded dark circles. It has a rollerball system with 3 little balls. You squeeze a little amount out and roll back and forth under the eye. then you simply pat any excess in and apply your daily makeup. I apply this both day and night and i do see it slowly working, it does have a lsight tingly sensation when you apply but nohting harsh. I will keep going with this and see if i can get my normal living eyes back.

Have you tried these? How did you find them?

Much Love

Glossybox Sept 2013

Hey ladies, Well its that time again, the lovely arrival of the Glossybox. This months box is the London edition. The box is in a lovely navy blue colour with the lid being the union jack, tops the london theme off :) Included with the box was there first ever Glossybox magazine. Its a little 10 pgae glossy magazine filled to the brim with lots of info on London fashion week, whats hot now and lots on the A/W 2013 beauty trends. I loved reading this and cant wait for the next one. Now for the box itself. Included in mine was a 5ml sample of Elizabeth Arden Untold eau de parfum. This sample is quite floral but not to overpowering and i think very modern. A very warming scent and will definately be trying this one out. The second thing that caught my eye was the Toni&Guy Shine gloss serum. I have used this in the past and totaly forgot about it, Im really looking foward to trying this again as i do remeber it being very good. The packaging is limited edition and was desgined by Lulu. The next item was by a company called Be A Bombsell Cosmetics, i personally have never heard of them. The product is there Onyx eye liner pen. It looks exactly like the blackbuster superliner by loreal. I tried this out and is not to bad, lasted very well and went on very easy, only took a few seconds to dry. The next item was the eylure pre-glued lashes. The box for some reason is so big just for one set of lashes and dont have a size number on them? Im intrigued to see if these will work and how long they will last for. They look quite natural so will be trying these out very soon. The last item is the Rimmel Stay Blushed Blusher. Now i have seen that this recently came out so very happy with this. I got the shade 004 Staykissed Cherry. Its a liquid cheek tint that states it wont colg pores and stays put for 24 hrs, now im looking foward to see if this is true or not. Now iv been talking for so long now im going to stop. Let me know what you think. Much love Gem xox If you dont know about Glossybox give them a look at www.glossybox.co.uk

Mini Haul

Hey ladies, So i was out shopping the wother day and a few products managed to work there way into my basket. I bought two of the Maybelline baby lips, Sleek Lip 4 palette, Bourjois Blush Exclusif and a Sleek blush. I never really jumped on the wagon when the baby lips came out, to me in my eyes they are just lip balms, Very good lip balms at that. I got pink punch & peach kiss. I have to say they smell divine especially the peach kiss. They are very moisturising and have a slight colour to them so in a way they stain the lips as well. They will definately be staying in my bag this autumn. What i found the most appealing was the new blush from Bourjois. This blsh is amazing, It is a creme ti powder blush that self adjusts into a unique pink that suits your skin tone when applied. I really love this. I have treid it on a few people and all have come out with different shades. I would definately recommend this to everyone. The Sleek lipstick palette caught my eye as iv seen a few posts on these and heard good reviews. I decided on the ballet palette. The palette has four matt, gloss and satin finishes. The colours are highly pigmented and have really suprised me as they last quite long on my lips. The four shades are Tutu, Plie, Swan Lake & Pirouette. I love this palette and will definately buy again. The Sleek blush im not to sure on yet. The shade i bought is Suede. I have loads of similar blushes to this colour, It again is higky pigmented and is a lovely dark coral bronze colour. I am going to try and use this more or maybe with different shades to see if i can like it. Im jut not to sure it suits me atm. Much Love Gem xox

EEKKK Day out with the hubby part 1 :D

Okay ladies this isnt a beauty post but i had to share my amazing day out with you all. So it was my hubbies birthday a few weeks ago and as a gift for erm me we went to the Harry Potter Tour. OMG it was amazing. I love Harry Potter and have wanted to go ever since it opened. My hubby on the other hand has seen one movie and fell asleep through it. So i know it took a lot for him to come with me but OMG i loved it.
When we pulled into the carpark i did the whole kid in a candy shop thing of screaming and just being so happy. Hubbie on the other hand just looked annoyed as there was people everywere lol.
So excuse the geeky look on my face on the pic i was indeed like a child. When you que to go inside the tour you see the replica of Harrys cupboard under the stairs. You then go into a room filled with posters from all the films, you hear a qucik story about the films and go into a large cinema room, me of course ran to the front seats as you do. The film starts and its based on the films and the tour and how it started. Then OMG the screan rises and there infront of you are the great doors to the great hall. Everyone was in awe even the moody hubby said wow. The loevly tour guide gave a little speach about the graet hall then off you trot around the rooms on your own, you can spend as much or little time as you like looking at each part. So thats enough for this part iv prob annoyed you with a long post hehe. Much love Gem xox

L'oreal Collection Privee

L'oreal have recentally launched a new lipstick collection adding on to there color riche line. Its called Collection Privee. There is 6 wonderfull nude shades all by the lovley l'oreal girls. I was out shopping and treat my self to 3 of the shades. They were on offer in my local boots store. I bought Rosewood Beige by Julianne Moore, Mauve Tint by Freida Pinto and Peach Sin by Eva Longoria.
I personally love these nude shades, they are very moisturising and have a slight pearl shine to them. L'oreal say that all 6 shades compliment every skin tone. The packaging in my eyes is also lovely, its different to there normal lipstick's and has a nice matt feel to them, i think its nice that on each shade the ladies have there signature on to tell them apart. I think i will definately go back and purchase the other three shades. Let me know what you think of them if youve bought them or seen them? Much love Gem xox
